We package your Sitka fishing trip so you don't have to worry about anything but the fishing. Upon arriving in Sitka, you will be greeted by a Kain's fishing staff member who will assist you with your luggage and drive you to our secluded hillside lodge where you will enjoy all the comforts of home.

Our Alaska lodge is located on a secluded hillside that overlooks the Sitka Sound and provides a spectacular view, the convenience of a short drive to Sitka and close proximity to our private dock.

The spacious dining and living rooms have panoramic views, sofas and recliners for relaxing after an adventurous day's fishing. The rooms are roomy and comfortable with two beds in each room and daily maid service. Treat yourself to the beautiful view from the back deck, or watch eagles soar overhead while you soak and relax in our hot tub. Other amenities include: television, washer and dryer, guest refrigerator and bar (we provide the ice and mixers, you provide the alcohol).


Our mornings start with a home-cooked breakfast consisting of biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. Lighter appetites can be satisfied too. Top the morning off with hot coffee, juice, fruits, homemade bread, cinnamon rolls and coffee cake.

Lunches consist of homemade bread, meats, salmon and halibut spread, cheeses, smoked salmon, cookies, sodas and coffee. The lunches are made fresh each day to take aboard the boat.

Dinner at the lodge is one of the highlights of the day. Our chef will have horsd'oeuvres ready when you return from your day's adventure.

Enjoy a cocktail or soda while you look across Sitka Sound from our spacious deck. Relax in our hot tub and savor the rich aromas of dinner cooking while you gaze upon the spectacular view. Typical menus include: fresh salmon, Dungeness crab, steak, halibut, ham, potato dishes, salads, home made bread, rolls and a variety of vegetable. After enjoying a delicious meal hopefully you'll have room for desserts, such as: Double chocolate cake, cheese cakes, lemon berry cake, ice cream pie, black berry pie, banana splits and a fresh cup of hot coffee ! Special food requirements can be made with advanced notice.
