Your host, Greg Kain (Owner/Operator of Kain's Fishing Adventures, Inc) has been in business since 1986. As a youth, Greg enjoyed his passion of fishing with his father throughout the Puget Sound and Straits of Juan de Fuca.

Greg learned every aspect of fishing he could and at the early age of sixteen he bought his first boat. At eighteen he acquired a brand new guide boat.

After graduating from High School he promised his parents he would further his education and clear his head of the idea of fishing for a living. He served a four year machinists apprenticeship and guided on a part-time basis. His desire to fish full-time grew once he had received his journeymen's card and fulfilled his promise to his parents. At age twenty-two he took a thirty day leave of absence from work to guide customers for salmon.

The rest is history. Greg has been guiding in Washington, Oregon and Alaska for nearly a dozen years now; sharing his passion for sport fishing with many happy and successful anglers.
